Schools

Education is a rich and rewarding sector that provides staff and teachers many opportunities for personal and professional growth. It can also be a demanding, and emotionally taxing environment to work in and stress management and mental wellbeing is often only considered during professional development days. Whilst school holidays are a great way to recharge, the days and weeks during term time are critical when it comes to supporting staff wellbeing. Ongoing stress management is essential and the inner practises of meditation and mindfulness offer tools that can really help educators find a more relaxed rhythm with their work.

I create bespoke classes and workshops specifically designed to support those working in the education sector. Using a combination of meditation, mindfulness, breathwork and guided relaxation I can help your staff let go of stress and tension, supporting them to develop awareness, a positive mindset and the ability to relax. These skills are so important when it comes to managing stress, increasing performance and productivity and achieving greater levels of wellbeing.

I’ve worked with international schools in the UAE and Hong Kong, delivering both weekly classes to teachers, as well as workshops and wellbeing sessions at staff inset/professional development days. I’m a Yoga Alliance 500hr registered yoga and meditation teacher with more than 10 years teaching experience and a long history of personal practise. I’m also a mum, and I’m married to an international school Headteacher so  I really do understand the unique environment of education.
