Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a deeply therapeutic technique to induce complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation. Stress and tension begin – and accumulate – in the mind even more so than the body, so while bubble baths and massages feel good for a short time, they don’t actually get to the source of tension. Yoga Nidra does.

This amazing technique is available for all levels, including beginners. It’s super easy and accessible because you get to lie down in Savasana the whole time! The body relaxes so much that it essentially goes to sleep (which is what the word Nidra means), however the consciousness stays alert so that therapeutic and systematic relaxation can take place.

Some of you may have experienced a short version of Yoga Nidra, which is sometimes offered as a short guided relaxation at the end of a class. As lovely as that is, it can’t offer the same release that a 30-45 minutes class can.

Yoga Nidra can address a number of conditions from releasing and managing stress, overcoming anxiety, sleeping issues, hormone issues, weight management, self confidence, fears and phobias, it can support a healthy pregnancy and it can also help facilitate healing from illness or injury. Yoga Nidra is also a wonderful way of expanding consciousness for anyone wanting to explore the more esoteric aspects of themselves.

Group classes are a great way to share the collective experience of relaxation. For an even deeper experience, you can work 1:1 – this is where a Yoga Nidra is actually created and prescribed for the individual by someone who has trained extensively in the technique (me!).  I’ve personally practised Yoga Nidra regularly for over 10 years now and I pretty much can’t get by without it.

And for those of you who could do with more sleep, a full Yoga Nidra is as restorative as several hours of shut eye – in the first few months after both of my boys arrived, it was the one thing that kept me kinda sane.

ONLINE ZOOM YOGA NIDRA CLASSES

The next block of classes I am offering start on Saturday 12th September for 4 consecutive weeks. The focus for these classes will be releasing accumulated tension and stress, managing anxiety and reconnecting with trust, light and wellbeing. Classes are held online via Zoom, details as follows.

SATURDAYS @ 4PM Dubai time / 8pm HK time – class will be approx 45 mins

40aed ($85HKD) per class drop in rate; 120 aed ($255HKD) for all 4 weeks

You can choose to attend the live class or you can do the recording, which I will email you to do and you will have 72 hours to do it in your own time 🙂
